O R D E R

The present petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to register the complaint and investigate the matter in accordance with law on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner to the respondent on 14.09.2015.

2. The petitioner herein lodged a complaint against one Manikandan and others stating that she has been cheated by them by selling the property which was owned by a 3rd party and received the amount. Though the complaint was lodged as early as on 14.09.2015, till date, there is no progress on the complaint lodged by the petitioner.

3. When the matter is taken up for consideration, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on the complaint given by the petitioner, C.S.R.No.544 of 2015 was signed and enquiry is under progress.

4. Considering the submissions made on either side, this Court directs the respondent to conduct an enquiry on the complaint dated 14.09.2015 lodged by the petitioner. If the materials gathered indicates commission of any cognizable offence, the respondent police is directed to proceed further in accordance with law, as early as possible.

6. This criminal original petition is disposed of accordingly.
