Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents to sanction incentive increment for the petitioner with effect from the date of promotion to the post of PG Assistant on 19.11.2011 for acquiring M.Phil., degree based on the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 16.05.2014 with arrears of salary with interest, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. The claim made by the petitioner for payment of incentive increment was not considered by the second respondent resulting in filing this writ petition.

2. According to the petitioner, inspite of his possession of qualification in M.Sc., and M.Ed., with effect from 01.06.2006, the second respondent has not paid him incentive increment.

3. The second respondent is directed to consider the claim made by the petitioner pursuant to the representation dated 16.05.2014 on merits and taking into account the Government Order https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

in G.O.Ms.No.1170 Education Science and Technology Department, dated 20.12.1993 and other relevant Government orders besides the order dated 24.07.2013 in W.P.(Md)Nos.11802 to 11806 of 2013. Such exercise shall be completed within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
