..Respondent(s) PRAYER - This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to conduct survey measurement with adequate police protection to fix four boundaries to the petitioner's lands measuring an extent of 1.33 Acres in Old S. No 65, new No 25/2 and an extent of 39.5 cents in old S. No 66A, New S. No 24/4 Nanjiampalayam Village, Dharapuram Taluk, Tiruppur District and consequently grant an individual Patta in the petitioner's name based on the petitioner's Application No 2026 / 0103 / 32/ 018049, dated 20.03.2026 within the time frame fixed by this Court.

O R D E R
This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the 1st respondent to survey and demarcate the boundaries of the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, and also to issue a separate patta in favour of the petitioner, based on his on-line application, dated 20.03.2026, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
2. Since the aforesaid petitioner's on-line application has not been considered till date, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.
3. Mr.R.P.Murugan Raja, learned Government Advocate, accepts notice on behalf of the 1st respondent and Mr.V.Meganathan, learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), accepts notice on behalf of the 2nd respondent.

No prejudice would be caused to the respondents, if the 1st respondent is directed to survey and demarcate the boundaries of the petitioner's property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, which the petitioner claims that it is owned by him, after hearing the objections, if any, from the
neighbouring land owners as well as any third party as they deem fit and thereafter, issue a separate patta to the petitioner, if he is entitled to be issued, in his name for the subject property.

Accordingly, this Court directs the 1st respondent to complete the survey and demarcation of boundaries of the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, with the assistance of the 2nd respondent, if required, based on the petitioner's online application, dated 20.03.2026, after giving due consideration to the documents produced by the petitioner, and after hearing the objections, if any, from the neighbouring land owners and any other third party, whom the 1st respondent deems it fit to enquire. Thereafter, if the petitioner is found to be eligible, the 1st respondent shall issue a separate patta for the sub-divided property in favour of the petitioner. The 1st respondent is directed to complete the aforesaid exercise, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the aforesaid directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
