Respondents Prayer: Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a writ of certioararified mandamus to call for the records of the 2nd respondent in proceedings No.Na.Ka.6245/2013/A4 dated 10.07.2015 and quash the same and consequently direct the respondents to issue Community Certificate to the petitioner's children based upon the Community Certificate already issued to the petitioner as they belonged to Kurumans Schedule Tribe Community in the year 1996.

ORDER

(Order of the court was made by HULUVADI G.RAMESH, J.) Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.V.Selvaraj, learned Additional Government Pleader, who accepts notice on behalf of respondents.

2. The writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of certioararified mandamus to call for the records of the 2nd respondent in proceedings No.Na.Ka.6245/2013/A4 dated https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

10.07.2015 and quash the same and consequently direct the respondents to issue Community Certificate to the petitioner's children based upon the Community Certificate already issued to the petitioner as they belonged to Kurumans Schedule Tribe Community in the year 1996.

3. It appears that the petitioner, who claims to belong Schedule Tribe Kurumans moved the second respondent seeking issuance of community certificate for her children on 3.11.2014, but, the same was rejected on 10.7.2015 and hence, the present writ petition has been filed.

4. As against the order of rejection made by the second respondent, the petitioner has a remedy of appeal before the District Level Verification Committee and therefore, the petitioner shall move the said authority and on such appeal being filed by the petitioner, it shall be disposed of by the District Level Verification Committee within a period of four weeks thereafter.
