ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking for a direction to direct the respondent police not to harass the petitioner in the guise of enquiry.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner wants to now have a change over to lead a peaceful life in society. On the contrary, the respondent police are visiting the petitioner's house at odd hours in search of the petitioner and harassing the petitioner and his family members.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondent Police submits that the petitioner is a history sheeter in H.S.No.23/2013. He further submits that the petitioner is involved in three murder cases and other cases. He submits that investigation in Crime No.68/2019 for the offence under Section 302 and Crime No.2611 of 2020 for the offence under Section 399 of Explosive act and Arms Act, are pending. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

He further submits that the petitioner had obtained bail in these two cases and given an undertaking that as and when required, he shall appear before the respondent police for investigation and co-operate with the enquiry. He submits that for the purpose of investigation, the petitioner is called since the petitioner is not co-operating with the investigation steps are taken for non co-operation of the petitioner.

4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner is directed to co-operate with the police for enquiry and during enquiry, the petitioner shall not be harassed by the respondent police.

5.With the above undertaking, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
