This Criminal Original Petition has been filed for direction directing the respondent to provide adequate police protection to demolish the building in Door No.68/108, Varadhamuthaiappan Street, George Town, Chennai 600 001.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) for the first respondent and perused the materials available on record.

3. Considering the limited prayer sought for in this petition, on the request made by the petitioner, the first respondent is directed to issue notice to the petitioner and the second respondent herein, conduct enquiry and dispose of the same on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
