ORDER

This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition has been filed seeking amendment by incorporating the offences under Sections 191(3), 189(4), 296(b), 118(1), 109, 351(3) of BNS in the place of offence under Section 109 of BNS in Crl.O.P.No.7118 of 2026 dated 25.03.2026.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that, except for Section 109 of BNS, the other sections were not mentioned in Crl.O.P.No.7118 of 2026 dated 25.03.2026. In support of this submission, a copy of the FIR has been produced, wherein the aforesaid additional sections are duly mentioned.

3. There are no serious objections on behalf of the respondents.

4. Having considered the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioners and upon perusing the affidavit filed in support of this petition, this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is allowed.

5. At this Juncture, the learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the present amendment application has been filed within the time granted by this Court for execution of sureties. In view of the said submission, this Court deems it appropriate to extend the time for compliance with the conditions imposed in Crl.O.P. No. 7118 of 2026 dated 25.03.2026 by a further period of two (2) weeks, from the date on which, the order copy made ready and no further extension of time will be granted.
