This writ petition has been filed for a direction to the respondents 2 to 7 to act upon the instructions issued by the 1st respondent in his letter dated 20.08.2019 and issue TSLR patta in the name of the petitioner and further direct the 1st respondent to take appropriate action against the respondent Nos.2 to 7 for their dereliction in duty as there is a disappearance of SF No.272/8B to an extent of 46 cent of land in Town Survey Land Records and there is no correlation of Town Survey Nos detail relating to the land comprised in S.F.No,.272/8B having an extent of 46 cents, situated at Kidangal Village, Tindivanam Town, Villupuram District.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 7 and Mr.K.Ramanamoorthy, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the 8th respondent and perused the materials available on record.
3. It is the grievance of the petitioner that despite the communication of the 1st respondent dated 20.08.2019 to the 2nd respondent, to set right the error in the computer patta in respect of the 3/6
petitioner's subject land and in light of the proceedings of the 2nd respondent dated 18.10.2019, no action has been taken by the authorities concerned, so far. Hence, the present writ petition.
4. Learned Standing Counsel appearing for the 8th respondent would submit that the subject land belongs to the Railways.
5. Whether the subject land belongs to the Railways has to be decided by the authorities concerned viz., respondents 2 to 7, on hearing the petitioner and after perusing the documents produced by the petitioner, in accordance with law, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. 07.06.2024 gya Index : Yes/No 4/6
