ORDER

Mr.A.N.Thambidurai, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the main writ petition itself is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to issue a writ of mandamus to direct the 2nd respondent to consider his representation dated 7.6.2017 and consequently direct the 2nd respondent to issue back the Stamp Vending License to him in License dated 31.1.1980.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that it would be suffice to direct the 2nd respondent to consider the representation given by the petitioner dated 07.06.2017, in accordance with law.

4. Mr.A.N.Thambidurai, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the 2nd respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner' s representation and pass orders in accordance with law.

5. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer now sought for by the learned counsel for the petitioner, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 07.06.2017 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above observation, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
