For Petitioner : Mr.A.Muruganandam For respondents : Mr.A.Kumar, Spl GP (For R1) M/s.Gupta & Ravi (For R2) COMMON ORDER The petitioner had approached this Court by filing Writ Petition in W.P.No.18797 of 2015 praying for a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 02.06.2015 to select the petitioner's child under 25% category in the school.
2.This Court by order dated 24.02.2016 disposed of the said writ petition with the following observations_ "5.Irrespective of the above submissions made by both sides, I am of the view that the above said representation dated 02.06.2015 pertains to academic year 2014-2015 for UKG and hence, the prayer in the writ petition has become infructuous. Hence, the prayer f the writ petitioner cannot be entertained in respect of he present academic year 2016-2017.
However, the petitioner is at liberty to give a fresh representation to the second respondent-school in respect of his son's admission for academic year 2016-2017, along with a copy of this order, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and if any such representation is preferred by the petitioner, the second respondent-school shall consider the same and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of such representation." 3.Now, the present Review Application has been filed by the petitioner seeking to review the order dated 24.02.2016 passed by this Court. 4.
2nd respondent that by considering the representation of the petitioner, a detailed order has been passed by the respondents rejecting his request. 5.In view of the submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader, the question of review the earlier order passed by this Court does not arise. It is well settled legal principle that the order of the Court can be reviewed only if there is any error apparent on the face of the order. We do not find any error in the order passed by this Court. Hence, the Review Petition is liable to be dismissed and accordingly, the same is dismissed. No costs.
