O R D E R

This Civil Revision Petition is filed to issue direction to the learned Sub Judge, Kallakurichi, to conduct the case in O.S.No.668 of 2019 1/4

for speedy trial and dispose the suit, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that, the second petitioner, who is a senior citizen, aged 70 years. Having filed the suit, the respondents are not proceeding with the trial. It is submitted that, issues had been framed and the suit is pending for trial. 3.

Considering the reasons stated that, the fact that the suit is pending for trial and also the fact that, the second petitioner is a senior citizen, the courts, shall give priority to dispose the case relating to the senior citizens, even without any direction from this Court. Therefore, the learned Sub Judge, Kallakurichi, is directed to dispose the suit in O.S.No.668 of 2019, on merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of six (6) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

This Civil Revision Petition is disposed of accordingly. However, there is no order as to costs.
