Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of mandamus, directing the first respondent to disburse petitioner's husband Employees Provident Fund (EPF Amount in A/c.No.6937/Forest) with interest in order to protect her livelihood forthwith based on the 2nd respondent's letter dated 19.08.2014.

O R D E R

The petitioner seeks a writ of mandamus directing the first respondent to disburse the Employees Provident Fund pertaining to Account No.6937 with interest pursuant to the letter issued by the second respondent dated 19.08.2014.

2. When the writ petition was taken up for consideration, the learned Additional Government Pleader on the basis of written https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

instructions given by the first respondent submitted that they are in the process of issuing a cheque to the petitioner and a sum of Rs.62,807/- will be given to the beneficiary within a period of one month.

3. In view of the submission made on behalf of the first respondent, no further adjudication is necessary in this writ petition.

4. The first respondent is directed to disburse the amount to the petitioner within a period of four weeks from today.

5. The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
