Respondent Writ Petition has been filed praying for issuance of a writ of mandamus, directing the respondent to take the services of the petitioner from 08.04.2000 to 16.06.2004 also for the purpose of fixing his seniority and accordingly refix his seniority in the post of Conductor.

By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for disposal.

2. The petitioner would state that he was appointed as a Conductor in the services of the respondent Corporation on daily rated basis during March,2000, and while he was working in that capacity, was issued with a Charge Memo, dated 25.06.2001, which culminated in disciplinary proceedings, and, by an order, dated 02.07.2003, a punishment of withholding his regularisation for six months from the actual date was imposed. According to him, the services of two other Conductors, who were appointed along with him, have been regularised in the year 2004 and, on account of the said disciplinary proceedings, his regularisation of service came into being after six months and prays that his services should be regularised from the date of his joining of duty on 08.04.2000. In this regard, he submitted several representations from the year 2010 on wards, and the last of which was submitted on 17.03.2015, and since no orders have been passed thereon, has come forward to file this Writ Petition.

3. Heard the submissions of Mr.Bharath Chakravarthy, learned counsel for the petitioner; and Mr.A.R.Nixon, learned Standing Counsel, who accepted notice on behalf of the respondent. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Though the petitioner has prayed for a larger relief, this Court, without going into the merits of the claim projected by the petitioner, directs the respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation, dated 17.03.2015, in accordance with law, after putting on notice the persons concerned, and pass orders, within a period of ten weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner as well as the persons concerned.
