Respondents Writ Petition has been filed praying for issuance of a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents 1 and 2 to regularise the service of the petitioner in the cadre of Junior Assistant based on the proposal sent by the fourth respondent to the second respondent in Na.Ka.No.493/A1/2012, dated 12.04.2012.

By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for disposal.

2. The petitioner was appointed as a Junior Assistant on compassionate ground, on account of demise of his mother, who died in harness, vide the order, dated 08.09.2007, of the second respondent.

3. The petitioner would state that he performed his duty sincerely and to the satisfaction of his superior officials, and though he has put in eight years of service, his services are yet to be regularised and, in this regard, the third respondent has repeatedly sent proposals, dated 12.11.2008, 17.03.2009 and 25.07.2011, to the second respondent, for regularising the service of the petitioner and the fourth respondent also sent a proposal, dated 12.04.2012, to the second respondent, for regularisation, and, since no orders have been passed, he has come forward to file this Writ Petition.

4. Heard the submissions of Mr.K.Venkataramani, learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioner; and Mr.K.Rajendra Prasad, learned Government Advocate, who accepted notice on behalf of the respondents.

5. This Court, in the light of the facts and circumstances of the case, directs the second respondent consider the proposals sent by the third respondent, dated 12.11.2008, 17.03.2009 and 25.07.2011 as well as the one sent by the fourth respondent, dated 12.04.2012, and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of ten weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, and communicate the decision taken to the petitioner.
