The respondent-Managing Director of the Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation (CBE) Limited is directed to be present before this Court on 29.04.2019 and explain why they are driving the poor Drivers and Conductors to the Court for the purpose of dispersal of their terminal and retirement benefits. This Court is receiving large number of writ petitions even for disbursement of terminal and retirement benefits. 2.It is an unfortunate situation that once the benefits are directed to be setted, all the similarly placed persons to be settled, at least by considering the financial position of the Transport Corporation by way of equal installments. However, no actions are taken. Contrarily, these employees are driven to Court unnecessarily. Thus, the Respondent /Managing Director is directed to be present along with the particulars so as to explain the situation.
3.The learned counsel for the respondent is directed to inform the order today over phone and through Electronic message to the respondent. Post the writ petition on 29.04.2019.
