ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to investigate the First Information Report registered in Crime No.626 of 2017 within a specific time stipulated by this Court.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that despite the FIR has been registered in Crime No.41 of 2020, the investigation has not been completed and final report has also not been filed.

3. The learned Government Advocate [Crl.side] appearing for the respondents would submit that this is a case of chain snatching. Though the respondent police has taken every steps to https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

secure the accused, the identity of the accused is not established.

4.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate [Crl.side] appearing for the respondents.

5. This Court is of the view that when the accused is not detected , there cannot be a direction to file the final report immediately. However, the respondent police is directed to expedite the investigation and file the final report.

6. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
