ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for the issue of writ of Mandamus directing the 3rd respondent to pay the compensation amount to the petitioner towards the land acquired from the petitioner.

The case of the petitioner is that he was the owner of the subject property which was acquired by the respondents for industrial purpose under the relevant enactment. According to the petitioner, the possession of the property was also handed over to the respondents. The grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner was not paid the compensation and left with no other alternative, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court.

Mr.Raja Durairaj, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents submitted that the proposal has already been sent to the Government and necessary orders are awaited and the compensation amount will be paid to the petitioner within a reasonable time. 4.

Heard Mr.Thenmozhi Shiva Perumal, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case, there shall be a direction to the respondents to pay the compensation amount to the petitioner, within a period of four months from the date of receipt of the copy of this order. The petitioner is directed to make a fresh representation to the respondents along with copy of this order. 6.

This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
