ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to file a report of further investigation in time bound manner in Crl.M.P.No.84/2014 in C.C.No.1131/12 on the file of II Metropolitan Magistrate, Chennai.

2. According to the petitioner, based on the petition filed by the Assistant Commissioner of Police, Kilpauk Range, seeking direction for further investigation, the II Metropolitan Magistrate, Chennai has ordered for further investigation on 16.05.2014. Now almost, more than one and half year from the date of the order, was over, but there is no progress in further investigation. Hence, the petitioner has come forward with the present petition.

3. I have heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the respondent is directed to conduct further https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

investigation in the case in Crime No.84 of 2014 in C.C.No.1131 of 2012 pending on the file of the II Metropolitan Magistrate, Chennai, and file a report of further investigation as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. The Criminal Original Petition is ordered accordingly.
