By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

2. The present writ petition is filed for issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 06.01.2016.

3. The grievance of the petitioner is that while he was working as a driver in the office of the respondent/Transport Corporation at Maruthamalai, he was transferred to Pollachi. Aggrieved over the order, he gave a representation dated 06.01.2016 to the first respondent seeking retransfer to the same place. Since it was not considered, the present writ petition has been filed.

4. Heard the submissions of Mr.J.Stalin, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.S.Sairaman, learned counsel, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5. This Court, considering the limited prayer sought for in the writ petition and without going into the merits of the case, directs the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 06.01.2016 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
