This petition is filed to set aside the conditions imposed as to appear and sign before the respondent Police daily at 10:00 a.m. & 5:00 p.m for 60 days except Saturday and Sunday in C.M.P.No.1876 of 2024 on the file of the Special Judge for EC/NDPS Act Cases, Salem dated 12.02.2025.
2. Heard the counsel for both sides and perused the materials available on record.
3. Considering the submissions, this Court is inclined to modify condition No. 3 imposed in C.M.P.No.1876 of 2024, dated 12.02.2025, passed by the learned Special Judge for EC/NDPS Act Cases, Salem, to the effect that the petitioners shall appear before the respondent Police Station daily, morning at 10:00 a.m. and evening at 5:00 p.m. for a period of thirty days and thereafter as and when required for interrogation. It is made clear 2/4
that, except the said modification, the order dated 12.02.2025 shall remain unaltered in all other respects.
