ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to file the final report in Crime No.05 of 2022 before the competent Court.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that though the respondent police has registered a case in Crime No.05 of 2022, no final report has been filed till date. Hence, the present petition has been 1/4

filed.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent would submit that, a case in Crime No.05 of 2022 on the file of Economic Offence Wing, Salem is now transferred to Economic Offence Wing, Dharmapuri and it is pending. He further requests six months time for completion of investigation and to file final report.

4. In the nature and circumstances of the case, the Inspector of Police, Economic Offence Wing- Dharmapuri is directed to complete the investigation and file the final report before the concerned Jurisdictional Magistrate Court, within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order under due intimation to the defacto complainant.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
