Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records pertaining to the order dated 14.09.2010 in Lr. No. 16355/659/ Adm.2/A3/2010 passed by the 4th respondent rejecting the claim for the appointment on compassionate ground and quash the same and direct the respondents 1 and 2 to provide forthwith compassionate appointment to the petitioner's younger son P. Selvamani without insisting no objection certificate from his elder son and pass further orders.

ORDER

The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking to quash the order dated 14.09.2010 in Lr. No. 16355/659/ Adm.2/A3/2010 passed by the 4th respondent rejecting the claim for the appointment on compassionate ground and direct the respondents 1 and 2 to provide compassionate appointment to the petitioner's younger son P. Selvamani forthwith, without insisting no objection certificate from his elder son.

2. The Tamil Nadu Mediation Centre, Chennai has submitted its report dated 05.10.2017, along with the Memorandum of Undertaking entered by the parties. Today, when the matter was taken up, the petitioner and the 5th respondent were present before this Court, along with the respective counsel and submitted that the matter has been settled between them and an Undertaking Memo has also been filed to that effect before the Mediation Centre.

3. In view of the above submission of the parties and the MOU dated 05.10.2017, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.
