(The case has been heard through video conference) The petitioners, who apprehend arrested at the hands of the respondent police for the offence punishable under Sections 417, 376 and 506(ii) IPC, in Crime No.11 of 2020 on the file of the respondent police, seek anticipatory bail.

2. On 18.09.2020, it was reported by the learned Counsel for the petitioners that the marriage between the victim and the first accused was conducted in a temple and the marriage is yet to be registered before the statutory authorities and at the request of the learned Counsel for the petitioners, the case was posted on 28.09.2020. Subsequently, the case was adjourned on several occasions for production of the copy of the marriage registration certificate. But for one reason or other, the learned Counsel had been taking adjournments and when the matter was taken up today i.e. 15.12.2020, the learned Counsel for the petitioner is not present. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. In view of the above, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
