ORDER

This habeas corpus petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking a direction to the first and second respondents/police to produce his daughter Ayeesha @ Dhatchayani, aged about 38 years and grandson Shaajan Sherif, aged about 10 years, before this Court and set them at liberty. 2.

Today, L.Arunachalam (Mobile No.94444 82975), SubInspector of Police, F-1, Chintadaripet Police Station, Chennai, is present. 3.

On instructions, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that Ayeesha @ Dhatchayani and Shaajan Sherif were secured by the police on 15.06.2022 and were handed over to the petitioner.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor connected us to Ayeesha through Whatsapp video call and she stated that she is now with her mother and grandmother and not in the illegal custody of anyone.
