This Civil Revision Petition is filed seeking direction to the learned Subordinate Judge, Attur, to expedite of H.M.O.P.No.140 of 2017, within a stipulated time to be fixed by this Court. 1/4

2.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that, the petitioner filed the petition under Section 13(i-a)(i-b) of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955 seeking divorce from the respondent. Pleadings had been completed and the examination of P.W.1 was commenced on 02.03.2019 and till now, his cross-examination, is not completed. The respondent, is deliberately protracting the proceedings. Therefore, he seeks early disposal of H.M.O.P.No.140 of 2017.

3.

Considering the reasons stated, the fact that, this H.M.O.P. was filed in the year 2017, also the fact that, the examination of P.W.1 was commenced on 02.03.2019 and till now, it is being protracted, without completing the cross-examination, this Court is inclined to consider the request of the learned counsel for the petitioner. Therefore, the learned Subordinate Judge, Attur, is directed to dispose of H.M.O.P.No.140 of 2017, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4
