ORDER

Mr.M.Santhanaraman, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the main writ petition itself is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to issue a writ of mandamus to direct the 1st respondent to dispose of the representation dated 09.03.2015, within a time frame.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that after the death of his father Subramaniam, the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

petitioner gave a representation dated 09.03.2015 to transfer the licence in his name, which has not yet been considered by the 2nd respondent so far.

4. Mr.M.Santhanaraman, learned Additional Government Pleader, appearing for the respondents submitted that the 2nd respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner' s representation and pass orders in accordance with law.

5. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 09.03.2015 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above observation, the writ petition is disposed of . No costs.
