The present petition has been filed to direct the third respondent to register a case based on the complaint given by the petitioner dated 03.08.2014.
2. The petitioner herein lodged a complaint as against one Saravanan on the allegation of cheating. It is the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the said Saravanan
collected money from this petitioner on the assurance that he will invest the money in the share market and would pay the interest and thus, misappropriated the amount. It is his further submission that the said Saravanan, has not only cheated this petitioner, but also cheated several other persons.
3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the complaint given by the petitioner was enquired into and the same was closed as it is purely a money dispute.
4. Since the complaint has already been closed, this Court cannot give any direction to register the complaint. However, the petitioner is at liberty to work out is remedy in the manner known to law, if he so desires. Accordingly, the petition is dismissed.
