ORDER
By consent of learned counsel on both sides, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

The present writ petition is filed praying for a writ of mandamus to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 25.05.2023 and thereby direct the 3rd respondent to issue patta in respect of the property situated at Alapakkam Village, Arakkonam Taluk, Ranipet District comprised in Natham Survey Nos.976 /20, 976 /21, 976 /22, 976 /23 to an extent of 120 sq. meter in the name of the petitioner.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for petitioner that petitioner submitted a representation dated 25.05.2023 to the respondents to issue patta in respect of the property comprised in Survey Nos.976 /20, 976 /21, 976 /22, 976 /23 to an extent of 120 sq. meter. However, the petitioner's representation was not considered by the respondent till date, thus the present writ petition has been filed before this Court.

4. At the outset, Mr.A.Selvendran, learned Special Government Pleader for respondents would submit that they would consider the petitioner's representation to issue patta, within the time stipulated by this Court, which was agreed to by the learned counsel for the petitioner.
5. In view thereof, the respondents shall consider the petitioner's representation dated 25.05.2023 to issue patta and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, keeping in view the revenue records within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording the petitioner, other interested parties or rival claimants, if any, a reasonable opportunity of hearing. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any views with regard to the merits of the representation and it is open to the concerned respondent to consider the representation on its own merits and in accordance with law. The writ petition stands disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
