O R D E R

The present petition has been filed to direct the respondent to register a case based on the complaint given by the petitioner dated 02.10.2015.

2. The petitioner and her family lives in an Old Age Mandapam. The petitioner constructed a thatched shed nearby that Mandapam. While so, one Sugumar, son of Subramaniyam came to the residence of the petitioner, asked the petitioner to vacate the mandapam as it belongs to him and also assaulted her, her husband and her daughters. It is further stated that the said Sugumar attempted to set fire by pouring kerosene. Hence, she lodged a complaint with the respondent police on 02.10.2015. Since no action was taken on the said complaint, the present petition has been filed.

3. Today when the matter is taken up for consideration, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the said Sugumar has also lodged a complaint as against this petitioner and both the complaints are now under investigation. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4.Considering the rival submissions, this Court directs the respondent to conduct enquiry on both the complaints, if materials are gathered indicating commission of any cognizable offence, the respondent is directed to proceed further in accordance with law, as early as possible.

5. This criminal original petition is disposed of accordingly.
