The present petition has been filed to direct the respondent to register a case based on the complaint given by the petitioner dated 14.08.2015 and investigate the same and to file a final report before the appropriate Court.

2. The petitioner herein lodged a complaint as against one Karthik stating that the petitioner, being a mediator in running a car selling/rental business, has given seven cars to the said Karthik and also given 10 signed blank cheques to him for business purpose. He has also received Rs.5,00,000/- from the petitioner. Thereafter, the said Karthik did not turn up and https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

gave evasive reply whenever the petitioner demanded to repay the amount. Hence, the petitioner lodged the present complaint. Since the complaint has not yet been registered, the present petition has been filed.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the petitioner is an accused in Crime No.830 of 2015 registered for offences under Sections 406 and 420 IPC. He would further submit that the petitioner collected the amount promising to get medical seat and he did not return the amount and the petitioner was, in fact, arrested in that case and the complaint given by the petitioner has already been closed. He has also produced the closure report.

5. Since the complaint has already been closed, nothing survives for adjudication in this petition. Hence, recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this petition is closed.
