ORDER

This criminal original petition has been filed to quash the proceedings in S.C.No.70 of 2024 on the file of the learned Sessions Judge, Magalir Needhimandram (Mahila Court), Allikulam, Chennai.

2. Today, when the matter was called, the parties to the dispute were present before the court and filed a Joint Memorandum of Compromise dated 08.05.2024.

3. Considering the fact that the Joint Memo of Compromise has been filed by the defacto complainant as well as the petitioner/accused and also considering the nature of the relationship between the parties, this court is accepting the Joint Memo of Compromise filed by the parties.

4. Since the parties have settled the dispute amongst themselves, in the interest of justice, this court is inclined to quash the proceedings in S.C.No.70 of 2024 pending on the file of the Learned Sessions Judge, Magalir Needhimandram (Mahila Court), Allikulam, Chennai. 2/6

5. Accordingly, the proceedings in S.C.No.70 of 2024 pending on the file of the learned Sessions Judge, Magalir Needhimandram (Mahila Court), Allikulam, Chennai is hereby quashed. The criminal original petition is disposed of. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
