O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a writ of mandamus to direct the respondents 1 to 6 to remove the seventh respondent from service in accordance with law and to take such further action against the seventh respondent. 2.

During the course of hearing, Dr.B.Ramaswamy, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for Puducherry Government and Mr.T.M.Naveen, learned Standing Counsel appearing for Puducherry Housing Board submits that the Puducherry Housing Board has cancelled the appointment of the seventh respondent by order dated 09.10.2023. The learned Standing Counsel has placed a copy of the 2/4

order dated 09.10.2023 of the Puducherry Housing Board before the Court. The said order is placed on record.

As the seventh respondent is already removed from the service, in our considered opinion, no further adjudication is required in this writ petition. 4.

Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. 5.

There shall be no order as to costs.
