ORDER

(Judgement of the Court was delivered by S.M.Subramaniam J.) The judgement dated 03.11.2015 passed in W.A.No.1926 of 2013 is sought to be reviewed in the present review application.

2. The educational qualification, prescribed by the Government based on the instructions issued by the National Council for Teacher Education, is to be scrupulously followed. Prescription of educational qualification, age and other criteria for appointment, are the prerogative of the employee. 2/5

3. The petitioner claiming exemption from passing Teacher Eligibility Test cannot be granted by the Writ Court. Hence, it was rightly rejected and more so, the review application has been filed by Tamil Nadu Pattathari Asiriyargal, Velaivaippu Sangam. A Sangam cannot maintain such a petition and also the issue raised has already been adjudicated on merits.

4. Thus, we do not find any error apparent warranting interference. Consequently, the review petition stands dismissed. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
