O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the second respondent to receive the release deed dated 27.02.2025 executed by the mother and sister in favour of the petitioner and to register the same.

2. Heard Mr.B.Sundarapandiyan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.U.Baranidharan, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for respondents.

3. Learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of respondents, based on the written instructions given by the second respondent, submitted that the document has not been presented for registration.

4. Per contra, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that document was presented for registration and it was not received by the second respondent.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the rival submissions, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to receive the settlement deed executed in favour of the petitioner dated 27.02.2025. If the same is in order, the same shall be registered and if the second respondent is not inclined to register, a refusal check slip has to be issued by assigning reasons. This process shall be completed within a period of one (1) week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
