The present miscellaneous petition has been filed seeking to condone the delay of 63 days in filing the criminal appeal against the order dated 04.11.2022 made in C.C.No.6619 of 2017 on the file of the Metropolitan Magistrate, FTC-II at Allikulam, Chennai.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner. Though the name of the respondent was printed in the cause list, there is no representation for the respondent.
3. Having satisfied with the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit filed in support of this petition, this petition stands allowed.
4. Registry is directed to number the criminal appeal, if the papers are otherwise in order and post the main case for admission.
