O R D E R
The relief sought for in the present writ petition is to accord permission to renew the period of license to the petitioner for running TANTEA Stall to sell the products of the 3rd respondent in the 2nd respondent campus.
2. Admittedly, the writ petitioner is not running the Tea stall for the past about 10 years. The relief sought for in the writ petition is to accord permission. The High Court cannot accord any such permission to run a Tea stall in the Government Medical College and Hospital. Government has issued a policy for regulating the canteens inside the Government Medical College and Hospital and on the Government Order, the competent authority has to conduct tender process and accordingly, grant permission.
3. When the procedures are contemplated for grant of permission to run the Tea shops in Government Medical College and Hospitals, this Court cannot grant the relief to run a canteen in the Villupuram Medical College and Hospital premises. Further, the petitioner states that she is not running the Tea shop for about 10 years in the Medical College, Villupuram.
4. This being the factum, the petitioner is at liberty to file an appropriate application if any such notification is issued by the competent authority for grant of permission.
5. With these observations, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
