This Criminal Original Petition has been filed praying to direct the respondent to register the complaint of the petitioner dated 26.03.2014, pending investigation on the file of the respondent police.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent and perused the materials placed on record.

3. It is represented by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that on a complaint lodged by this petitioner against her husband, a petition enquiry is pending in CSR.No.190 of 2014 and the matter has been referred to the Social Welfare Officer. After receiving report from the Social Welfare Officer, the respondent-Police is directed to act in accordance with law as laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Lalita Kumari Vs. Govt. of U.P. & others [2013 (4) Crimes 243 (SC)].

4. With the above observation, this Criminal Original Petition is closed. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
