ORDER
This writ petition is filed assailing the action of the respondents in issuing to the petitioner a charge memo dated 24.10.2018 and the consequential proceeding dated 23.04.2019 and to stay all further proceedings.

Today, when the writ petition is taken up for hearing, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submits that pursuant to the impugned proceedings, by which, the petitioner was called upon to submit his explanation to the charge memo, the respondents passed final order thereafter on 05.11.2020 in G.O.(2D) No.275, Home (Pol.2) Department, whereby, the petitioner was visited with the punishment of compulsory retirement from service.
3. Learned Special Government Pleader further submits that the petitioner accepted the aforesaid proceedings and in also presently receiving his pension.

4.On the aforesaid submission being made by the learned Special Government Pleader, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that subsequent to the issuance of impugned proceedings, the 1st respondent has passed a final order dated 05.11.2020 in G.O.(2D) No.275, Home (Pol.2) Department and thus, the cause in the writ petition does not survive for consideration. Learned counsel further submits that this Court may take record of the respondents passing the final order dated 05.11.2020 and close the writ petition as infructuous.
5. Placing on record the submission made by the learned counsel on either side, the writ petition is closed as infructuous. However, it is open to the petitioner to avail remedy against the final order dated 05.11.2020 in G.O.(2D) No.275, Home (Pol.2) Department, if he is so advised. No costs. Consequently connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
