..Respondents Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to grant leave to the petitioner's father Mr.A.Haneefa (convicted No.11406) who is confined in central prison, Cuddalore, for a period of four weeks or any other reasonable priod to enable him to attend the marriage of the petitioner to be conducted on 23.08.2015 and perform his rites as a father. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents has produced a letter dated 25.08.2015 indicating that the petitioner was released on 20.08.2015 on leave from 21.08.2015 to 23.08.2015 so as https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
to attend his son's marriage and after leave period, he returned to prison on 24.08.2015 evening.
In view of the same, the writ petition is closed. No costs.
