Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on the representation dated 17.09.2016 regarding appointment of Noon Meal Organiser within reasonable time as per Service Rules.

Heard both sides and perused the materials placed before this Court.

2.The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking direction to the first respondent to dispose of her representation dated 17.09.2016.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is a widow belonging to M.B.C.Category. The second respondent called for application for the post of Noon Meal Organiser and the petitioner applied for the same and also attended the interview, however, the third respondent was https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

appointed in the said post. The learned counsel further submitted that the petitioner possess the required qualification for appointment to the post of Noon Meal Organiser and since she was not appointed, she made representation to the respondents, however, the same has not yet been considered. 4.In view of the above, this Court directs the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 17.09.2016 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
