O R D E R

The present criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to register a case based on the complaint of the petitioner dated 24.07.2014. 2.The petitioner is running a Cable TV broadcasting at Mydeen Complex, Needamangalam, Tiruvarur District. She is having valid permission and licence in Licence No.MSO 11792. In order to maintain and collect monthly subscription from the subscribers, the petitioner has employed one Mr.Mathialagan and the said Mathialagan was paid a sum of Rs.6000/- per month as monthly salary. Whileso, the petitioner terminated the service of the said Mathialagan as he did not give proper accounts for the amount collected from the customers. The said Mathialagan continues to collect subscription illegally and due to the above said act of the said Mathialagan, the petitioner is not in a position to remit the monthly charges to Arasu Cable TV for the past 5 months. above situation to the District Deputy Manager of Arasu Cable TV. However, the District Deputy Manager of Arasu Cable TV intimated the petitioner that if the charges are not remitted the signal supply would be terminated. In the meanwhile the said Mathialagan has threatened the petitioner and her family members.

Hence, the petitioner lodged a complaint on 24.07.2014, but till date no action has been taken. Hence, this petition.

3.I have heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor. 4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on the allegations made in the complaint no cognizable offence is made out and there is only dispute between brother and sister. Thus, he opposed to grant direction. 5.However, the complaint petition is pending before the respondent police. Hence, this Court directs the second respondent to conduct enquiry on the complaint dated 24.07.2014 given by the petitioner in accordance with law and dispose of the said complaint as early as possible, preferably, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above directions, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
