By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

2. The petitioner claims that the property, admeasuring to an extent of 0.26.5 acres situated in Survey No.262/4, situate at Kadambur Village, Gangavalli Taluk, Salem District, originally belonged to his father and he was issued with a patta and after his demise, the petitioner is in possession https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

and enjoyment of the property and the petitioner gave a representation/application dated 15.04.2016, praying for transfer of patta in his name and since no orders have been passed, he is constrained to approach this Court by filing this writ petition.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.P.Sanjay Gandhi, learned Additional Government Pleader, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

4. Though the petitioner has prayed for a larger relief, this Court, in the light of the facts ad circumstances and without going into the merits of the claim projected by the petitioner, either in the representation or in the writ petition, directs the 4th respondent to consider and dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 15.04.2016 in accordance with law, after putting on notice the persons concerned and pass orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner as well as to the persons concerned.

5. The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
