The recruitment process commenced for filling up of 74 vacancies. Service Commission. In the event of entertaining such errors or mistakes in the applications, it will pave way for opening of Pandora's box and many such candidates will come up with a plea of that they have also committed mistakes and their applications should also be entertained by the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission.
4. In the world of competition, the accuracy is to be maintained while submitting applications by the candidates. In the event of any mistake or error, as per the rules and the instructions issued to the candidates, the said applications will be rejected and thereafter they cannot turn around and say that it is only a bonafide mistake and therefore their applications must be admitted.

This being the factum, the relief as such sought for in the present writ petition lost its relevance and thus no further consideration needs to be undertaken.
