This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondent to regularize the petitioner's service in the post of Assistant Jailor with effect from 18.01.2014 and grant him all consequential benefits by considering his representation dated Page No.1 of 4

21.08.2019.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Special Government Pleader for the respondent submitted that the petitioner has been given with promotion.

3. In view of the above submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader, nothing survives for further consideration in this Writ Petition. Hence, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
