Additional Public Prosecutor COMMON ORDER These present criminal original petitions have been filed seeking police protection for the committee members for conducting administrative committee meeting and the another to take action against the concerned police officials for the incident that had taken place on 11.10.2015 at 11.00a.m. inside the Immanuel Lutheron Church, Ambur.
2. The grievance of the petitioner is that though the petitioner had obtained an order from this Court in CRP (NPD) No.3981 of 2013 and had submitted their applications before the election committee for considering their voting right, the police personnel prevented the petitioner and others from entering into the Church. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court.
3.Learned Additional Public Prosecutor would on instruction would submit that as per the report received from the Inspector of Police, Ambur, the election was convened on 11.10.2015 and the weekly sunday prayer had been conducted without any hindrance for the past four weeks and hence, oppose for any direction to be issued in these Criminal Original Petitions.
4. A perusal of the affidavit would reveal that vague and vexatious allegations have been made by the petitioner and hence, this Court is of the view that the petitioner has not made out any prima facie case in support of the prayer sought for. In view of the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this court is of the view that the situation appears to be very normal and hence, these two Criminal Original Petitions are dismissed.
