This application coming on this day before this court for hearing the court made the following order:- This application is filed seeking to extend the period for completion of the Arbitral proceedings and pronouncement of Arbitral Award by a period of six months.

2. It is stated that originally six months time was granted by this Court for completion of arbitration proceedings, which lapsed on 22.03.2018. As the mandate of the Tribunal has expired, the present application has been filed.

3. Heard Mr.P.V.Balasubramaniam, learned counsel appearing for the applicant and Mr.V.Manisekaran, learned counsel appearing for the first respondent and Mr.P.M.Bakthavatsalam, learned counsel appearing for the second respondent.

4. It is submitted that the Cross examination of the second respondent is in progress and the parties agreed that they would require only three months for the completion of the Arbitral proceedings for passing of the award.

5. Accordingly, with the consent of both learned counsel, time for passing of the Award is extended by three months from the date of receipt of copy of this order for completion of the arbitration proceedings. The parties should endeavour to complete the arbitration proceedings within a period of three months. 6.Accordingly, this application stands ordered.
