ORDER

By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal and disposed of by this order.

Mr.C.Kathiravan, learned Government Advocate accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

The petitioners have filed the present writ petition seeking for issuance of a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents to regularise the services of the petitioners in the post of Forest Watcher in the light of the orders passed in WP.No.15561/2006 dated 10.03.2008, WA.No.690/2008 dated 13.10.2009, WP.No.23374/2008 dated 30.10.2009, WA.No.607/2010 dated 29.03.2010 and proceedings of the 2nd respondent dated 07.01.2011 by considering the representation dated 19.03.2021.

Learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the petitioners will be satisfied if a direction is issued to the respondents to consider and pass orders on the petitioners' representation dated 19.03.2021 on merits within a stipulated time frame.

This Court heard the submissions of the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents and perused the materials placed before it.

Though the petitioners have prayed for a larger relief, this Court, in the light of the facts and circumstances of the case and without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioners, directs the respondents 1 and 2 to consider and dispose of the petitioners' representation dated 19.03.2021 on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioners herein. 7.
