Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the representation dated 20.03.2024 of the petitioner and to effect the necessary corrections in the Survey and Settlement records of Keezhavur Revenue Village relating to O.S.No. 54, Ward J, Block 2 and pertaining to T.S.No. 6/6 R.S.No.49/6 and O.S.No.54 and to effect necessary corrections of the extent of Sri Vazhikarai amman Temple as OH-02A-77C instead of OH-02A-00C. ORDER

This writ petition is filed for a direction to the respondents to consider the representation dated 20.03.2024 of the petitioner and to effect the necessary corrections in the Survey and Settlement records of Keezhavur Revenue Village relating to O.S.No. 54, Ward J, Block 2 and pertaining to T.S.No. 6/6 R.S.No.49/6 and O.S.No.54 and to effect necessary corrections of the extent of Sri Vazhikarai amman Temple as OH-02A-77C instead of OH-02A-00C.

2. The petitioner submitted a representation on 20.03.2024 with a request to effect the necessary corrections in the Survey and Settlement records of Keezhavur Revenue Village relating to O.S.No. 54, Ward J, Block 2 and pertaining to T.S.No. 6/6 R.S.No.49/6 and O.S.No.54 and to effect necessary 2/6

corrections of the extent of Sri Vazhikarai amman Temple as OH-02A-77C instead of OH-02A-00C, which is pending without consideration. Hence, this writ petition.

3. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader (Pondy) appearing for the respondents and perused the materials available on record.

4. By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

5. Considering the limited relief sought for in this writ petition, this Court without going into the merits of the case directs the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 20.03.2024 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after giving notice to any other interested persons. Such exercise shall be completed within a period of two months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. 3/6
