This Writ Petition is filed to direct the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 26.02.2024 and to cancel the patta stands in the name of the second respondent in T.L.S.R.Nos.13/2, 14/1 and 15 on the basis of sale deed document Nos.748/2011 and 749/2011 on the file of the District Registrar, Salem East. 3.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader for the first respondent and perused the materials available on record.

The grievance of the petitioner is that he purchased the property in the year 2009. However, by forging certain documents, the said property was also purchased and dealt with subsequently in the year 2011. In this regard, he has already filed a complaint and the FIR has been lodged by the police officials and an investigation is pending. Therefore, the petitioner gave representation to consider his representation and to cancel the patta issued in the name of the second respondent.

Considering the limited nature of the relief sought for in the present Writ Petition, there shall be a direction to the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 26.02.2024 and pass appropriate orders after giving an opportunity to the petitioner as well as to the second respondent, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
