This petition has been filed to enlarge the petitioner on bail in connection with R.R No.69/2023 in NCB R.No. 48/1/26/2023-NCB/MDS pending investigation on the file of the respondent.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the respondent police found the accused person with illegal possession of 1.823 kgs of Amphetamine. Hence, the case.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution. Further, there is no bad antecedents against the petitioner. Hence, he prays to allow this petition.

4. The learned Government Advocate (crl.side) submits that the contraband seized from the accused person is commercial quantity. Hence, raised objection to grant bail.

5. Considering the fact that the contraband seized from the petitioner is commercial quantity. Hence, this Court is not inclined to allow this petition. Further, the petitioner is entitled to take all defence before the Trial Court. Accordingly, this petition is dismissed. 28.06.2024 pbl
